Here you can find a holiday home close to the beach or a holiday home, which is located a bit higher in the scenic forest areas behind the shore. In this area you can enjoy the magnificent nature, tranquility, plenty of fresh air as well as the beach with good opportunities for kite surfing. Trend has a grocery shop as well as a couple of restaurants. You can also find shopping facilities in Ranum, 5 km from Trend. Farther away you will find the towns Logstor, Farso and Aars.

The Limfjord beach by Trend is a good, long and sandy bathing beach with small waves. If you bring a wheel chair, a pram or a pushchair, you can use the asphalt path, which leads down to the water''s edge. And from the beach you can enjoy the view of the islands Fur and Livø. The beach is traffic-free and offers good opportunities for wind and kitesurfing.
Trend is surrounded by fields, forest and the Liim Fiord.
The forest Trend Skov by the village Trend, contains a royal hunting lodge and many good walking paths.
The stream Trend Å winds from Vester Hornum towards the Liim Fiord and is very popular among anglers.

The impressive three-winged mediaeval monastery Vitskøl Kloster from the year 1157 is situated by the bay Bjørnsholm Bugt. The Ertebolle culture bear witness of the settlements around the Liim Fiord during the stone age, more than 6,000 years ago. The first kitchen midden was dug out in the year 1890 by Ertebolle. The stone age centre Stenaldercentret informs of the stone age society through interesting exhibitions and workshops.
The manor house museum Hessel is situated on the peninsular Louns by Hvalpsund. The fortification Aggersborg from the year 980 is one of the largest ring castles in Denmark with traces of 48 long houses. The viking castle is very strategically situated by the narrowest part of the Liim Fiord.
From Rønbjerg you can go with the ferry to the beautiful island, which is traffic-free, very scenic and has a rich animal life and more marked walking paths.
The island Fur, which is situated opposite Trend, offers diversified and distinctive landscapes, which is characterized by level moors, lakes, fields, hills, steep coastal cliffs, forests and moler graves.
The lime pit Mønsted Kalkgruber by Stoholm is an endless labyrinth of 2 km illuminated mine passages with both large caves and narrow corridors. Once every hour a show is put on and lights are reflected in the largest lake of the pit.
The open-air museum Hjerl Hede Frilandsmuseum near Vinderup is an interesting and lifelike museum for the whole family. See among other things how the daily life in the country 150 years ago is vitalized.
