Ejby Strand is situated between the inlets 'Roskilde Fjord' and 'Isefjord', in the centre of Sealand.

The holiday house area is situated on lower part of the peninsular Hornsherred, called Bramsnæs. Bramsnæs is characterized by farms, small villages and a few fishing hamlets. The area offers nature and bathing experiences as well as culture and sights. It is possible to buy groceries in the area. In the nearby towns Holbæk (12 km) and Roskilde (22 km) you will find a number of restaurants, good shopping possibilities as well as cultural offers.
The beach 'Ejby Strand' is a stony beach with a bathing jetty.
Another recommendable beach is the beach of Herslev (13 km). It has shallow water and course sand, and therefore it is very suitable for children.
The coast of the inlet 'Isefjord' is very steep, while the coast of the inlet 'Roskilde Fjord' is even and turns into salt meadows and fields.
The river valley 'Ejby Ådal' is a deep and preserved gorge, which is situated just north of the harbour of Ejby. The banks of the gorge are terraced and by the stream's mouth into Isefjord, you will find meadows and marshes. 'Ejby Ådal' has interesting vegetation with more than 600 different, registered plants.
The inlet 'Roskilde Fjord' is a game preserve. Almost all over the inlet, the water is shallow with depths of less than 6 metres. By Roskilde Fjord you will find a large number of water birds, which breed on the app. 30 small islands and tongues.
The golf course of 'Holbæk Golfklub' is situated only 10 km from the holiday house area, and is a unique experience because of its location, directly by the peninsular 'Kirsebærholmen'. Enjoy the view of the inlet 'Holbæk Fjord' from here. The course of 'Roskilde Golf Klub' is situated about 16 km from Ejby Strand, and in Roskilde you will also find a bowling alley (app. 23 km).
Anglers will find good opportunities along the shore - f.x. in the bay 'Bramsnæs Bugt', where it is possible to catch sea trout and garfish.
Pamper yourselves in the Turkish bath in Holbæk, which also offer a steam bath, sauna and massage.
In Bramsnæs you will find a number of passage graves, which tell about the settlements of prehistoric Denmark. On the northern side of the river valley 'Ejby Ådal' you can se a monolith (a monument from the viking age), which is called 'Troldbykællingen'. At the museum of Bramsnæs in Kirke Hyllinge (3 km) the past is turned into an experience. Here you can observe objects, which are related to the life of humans in Bramsnæs - from the antiquity and up till today.
If you wish to pamper yourselves, you ought to dine at the half-timbered restaurant 'Langtved Færgekro', which is famous for it's magnificent location as well as its delicate cuisine (3 km).
The castle 'Selsø Slot' is situated in Skibby (10 km) and contains a museum. Here you can see one of Denmark's most distinguished baronial halls. Enjoy the splendid stucco ceiling and the 2 large Versailles mirrors.
In Holbæk (12 km) you can shop, visit the marina and the museum, which consists of 13 historic buildings and offers music and theatre in the yard.
Visit the village Nyvang, where the past comes alive. Experience the old forge from 1869 or try one of the specialities from kitchen of the smallholding.
At 'Vikingemuseet' in Roskilde you can see ships from the viking age as well as other Northern ships (22 km).
The castle 'Dragsholm Slot' by Hørve (36 km) is Denmark's oldest castle. The former fortress from the early Middle Ages contains a dungeon and offers many ghost stories.
The amusement park 'Nordsjællands Sommerpark' in Græsted is a cornucopia of amusements and activities for both children and adults. Among other things it offers a jungle path and a water world (49 km).
Pay a visit to the capital Copenhagen with its royal flair (55 km).
