Culture

The ruined palace Kalo Slotsruin at the inlet Kalo Vig represents the remains of redoubts from the English War. In the many castles and manor houses you can almost sense the presence of history.

The cafés are situated along Vadestedet by the stream that runs through the city. Activities
Djursland and Mols offer plenty of activities for both children and adults. The area has a ramified network of walking paths and bicycle tracks. Anglers are able to throw in the line from the waters edge, from the piers and from a boat on the sea as well as in the lakes and streams of the area. Furthermore, diving, windsurfing, water-skiing, canoeing and horseback riding are among the popular sports on Djursland and Mols.
