Djursland and Mols are surrounded by sea on three sides. Along the coasts, you will find child-friendly and white beaches. Further inside the peninsula, the nature is lush, here there are unique views, heath areas, forests, meadows, lakes, and rivers. North Djursland is known for its imposing chalk cliffs, which are several million years old. The Mols Hills in the south are a magnificent, protected natural landscape with varied nature, numerous hiking trails, and a rich wildlife. Djursland is also characterized by the many well-preserved castles, manor houses, and estates.
