The electricity for heating of the sauna is not included in the average consumption.
The estimates are based on the average number of persons per square metre. If you stay just a few persons in a large holiday home, you have to take a higher consumption than the average into account.
You have to expect a proportional larger consumption for a short break than for a week's holiday due to heating costs.
Usually, Danish holiday homes are heated with electricity. The average electricity consumption is based on holiday homes with electricity as their primary heat source. In holiday homes with other heat sources, like oil-fired boiler or district heating, the electricity consumption will be lower. In return you will have expenses for oil or district heating. The use of a wood-burning stove has not been considered in the average consumption.
