Usually, a bed-loft has a height of 70-100 cm. Generally there is no safety railing, and the bed-loft is accessible by means of a steep staircase/ladder. A bed-loft is not suitable for small children, elderly persons or persons with impaired or limited mobility. The sleeping facilities in the bed-loft consist of loose foam rubber mattresses.
