When renting a holiday home from us, you need to pay a deposit together with the last rent instalment. Once you leave, we will deduct your consumption from the deposit sum. This way, payment will be entirely automatic, and you don’t need to concern yourself with it when you depart.
Depending on which period you book the holiday home with us, we will invoice different deposit amounts based on the following intervals:
01.10. – 31.05 winter period
01.06. – 30.09 summer period
We will refund any remaining part of your deposit to your bank account no later than 2 weeks following your departure.
If you paid the deposit sum by bank transfer, please indicate your account number when booking your holiday home. That way, we can refund any remaining amount to your account.
If you paid the deposit by credit card, we will issue any refund to the credit card you used for payment. Please note that up to 5 banking days may pass before the amount is registered on your account.
In case of missing/incorrect information, we will send just one reminder, where we will ask you for your correct banking information. It is your responsibility to ensure that Sol og Strand is in possession of the correct information. There is a return payment limitation period of 5 years on the remaining deposit sum.
