In Denmark we focus strongly on environmentally correct behaviour. This focus results in high duties on electricity and water consumption among other things. As a holiday guest in Denmark you have to contribute through the settling of your electricity, oil and water consumption.
On average our holiday guests use 0.5 cubic metres of water per person per week.
Holiday guests in houses with swimming pool use 1 cubic metre per person per week on average.
The water consumption for the whirlpool must be added to this.
If you live in a holiday home, in which you do not have to pay separately for the water consumption, you are not permitted to set up your own pool and with that use extra quantities of water without payment. In general large pools must never be used by holiday homes. If you violate this rule Sol og Strand will collect an additional amount for the estimated extra consumption of water.
